Assembly Winding Operator

  • Responsible for coil winding and hook up. Position requires a minimum of 4 years experience and must be equipped to read wire diagrans.

 

Manufacturing Engineer

  • Responsible for the day-to-day operations of the product lines as well providing support to new product in the production areas, and assisting with all other products lines as needed.
  • Creates build documents and maintains operation schedules. Included in this responsibility is writing the actual instructions on how to build the product within the specifications of the design and maintaining the schedule.
  •  Provides input on new designs to improve manufacturability and to reduce cost.  Improves cost processes by out sourcing or improving the process internally.
  • Defines any hand tooling and fixturing that production uses to build products.  Included in this responsibility is researching for specialty tools, fixtures, and hand tools to best meet the needs of the organization.  Responsible for designing tooling and fixtures if unavailable in the market.
  • When work in primary classification is not available, may perform other duties according to skill and availability.

 

 

 

Part Time Drafter

  • This position is responsible for providing design, drafting, and documentation support for old and new design opportunities, providing drafting support for engineering change orders and providing backup to Documentation Control activity.
  • Provides solid models, sketches and detailed drawings for mechanical and electrical designs using various engineering software.   Obtains specifications from engineering, prepares draft model, sketch and / or drawing, modifies upon discussion and creates final documents upon approval.
  • Provides geometric dimensioning, tolerancing, and tolerance studies of designs. Reviews designs and determines feasibility of the drawing by conducting various tests, researching alternatives and studies.  Provides guidance as to modifications in order to ensure operability of the design.
  • Provides schematic and printed circuit board designs and maintains schematic symbol and part libraries using specified software.  Uses software to enter information into system, obtains any missing or questionable information and converts into a board.  Prepares schematic with placement of parts on the board and suggests modifications as needed.
  • Maintains all sheet and electronic documents. Ensures all changes are made to drawings and appropriate personnel are presented with updated documentation. Actually enters changes into the drawings as requested / required
